Step inside a world where machines think, feel, and evolve—explore the groundbreaking AI: More Than Human exhibit now captivating visitors at the Frost Museum of Science.
This summer, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science invites visitors to step into a world where the boundaries between human and machine blur—where emotion, creativity, and consciousness are not just the domain of people but of circuits and code. Running from August 1 through September 1, the internationally acclaimed exhibition “AI: More Than Human” arrives in Miami to dazzle, challenge, and awaken the imagination. The Evolution of Intelligence—From Myth to Machine
“AI: More Than Human” isn’t your typical tech exhibit—it’s a philosophical, cultural, and technological odyssey. Visitors begin their journey by exploring ancient myths and religious traditions that imagined artificial life centuries before machines existed. From Jewish folklore’s golem to Japanese Shinto spirits, the exhibit masterfully connects our oldest dreams to today’s digital breakthroughs.
It then seamlessly transitions into modern-day artificial intelligence, showing how algorithms, neural networks, and robotics are already reshaping our world—from healthcare and art to social media and surveillance.
This is more than an exhibit. It’s a conversation with the future.
Interactive, Immersive, and Intellectually Daring
Presented in collaboration with Barbican Centre, London, and curated by leading global minds, the exhibit is highly interactive. Guests can:
Create art with an AI partner
Chat with a simulated artificial lifeform
Train an algorithm
Explore how AI is being used in climate research, medicine, and music
From deepfake tech to AI-generated poetry, the lines between human and machine creation are explored with awe and ethical complexity.
For families, students, creatives, and curious minds alike, this is a rare opportunity to engage hands-on with real AI systems—some of which are being deployed in the real world right now.
Miami at the Crossroads of Technology and Culture
That this exhibit lands in Miami is no coincidence. With the city’s rising status as a tech hub—and its growing crypto, fintech, and startup scenes—AI is not just an abstract concept here. It’s a tool already embedded in business, education, and even government.
Mayor Francis Suarez has championed digital innovation as part of Miami’s identity. With “AI: More Than Human,” the Frost Museum contributes to this vision, giving the public access to an experience that’s at once playful, provocative, and deeply relevant.
Why It Matters Now
As we move into an era defined by artificial intelligence, the big questions become urgent:
What does it mean to be human?
Can machines be creative—or even conscious?
Who owns the decisions algorithms make?
What are the risks of a future driven by automation?
This exhibit doesn’t give easy answers. But it will leave you changed—and, most importantly, informed.
