Tiara Hughes’ NEXT CHAPTER: Rising Talent of 2026

Tiara Hughes remembers the first time she fell in love with performance. It happened in a theater arts class at Murray Middle School in Wilmington, North Carolina. She took just one semester, but the experience awakened something deep inside her. “I loved it,” she says simply. That early spark never faded, even when it was pushed to the sidelines.

Before Tiara fully pursued her dream, she was doing all the things expected of her. She worked, she survived, and she paid bills. Her creativity and performance instincts were always there, but they existed more as interests than as commitments. She loved them, but she did not yet believe she could fully claim them.

The biggest challenge along her journey was self doubt. Tiara questioned her timing, her readiness, and whether she was allowed to want more. But one day she had a realization that changed everything. Staying comfortable, she came to see, was more costly than taking a risk. That realization became her turning point.

Her path was not without practical obstacles. “My family did not have a lot of money,” she explains. “My mom did not drive, so it was hard to get around. It is hard to find transportation when you are living in the country.” Yet change came when she moved to Fayetteville. There were more work opportunities, more access to transportation, and the chance to grow in a community that could support her ambitions. She became financially responsible and started to invest in her own creative future.

What Tiara loves most about acting and modeling is the freedom to explore. “I love the creativity,” she says. “Exploring different characters, making bold choices, and learning new things.” For her, the process is not just artistic. It is a joyful kind of growth that pushes her beyond limits she once set for herself.

She has learned that growth requires courage. Getting out of her comfort zone, being reliable, being responsible, and always being prepared are the lessons she carries forward. “You have to put in the work,” she says. “You have to show up. Talent matters, but discipline and preparation matter even more.”

To anyone wondering if it is too late to pursue a dream, Tiara’s message is clear and encouraging. “It is never too late,” she says. “Do your research. Study. Be yourself. Get help from the right people. Find the right team. Don’t ever ask for permission. At the end of the day it is your life and your dream.”

Tiara Hughes is no longer on the sidelines. She is stepping into her stage with intention, craft, and the kind of belief that lights up a room.
