  • Edit short-form social media videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks) using Adobe Premiere or similar tools

  • Help develop video concepts and scripts alongside editors and writers

  • Create graphics, lower-thirds, and visual effects for storytelling clarity

  • Manage raw footage, organize project files, and help prep for publishing

  • Participate in content brainstorms, field shoots, and post-production meetings

  • Potential on-camera opportunities for the right candidate

You Are:

  • A student or recent graduate studying film, video production, communications, or digital media

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools

  • Comfortable with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic audio/video gear

  • Creative, collaborative, and eager to learn in a real-world environment

  • Passionate about storytelling and current events

  • Bonus: You’ve made TikToks, YouTube videos, or social shorts—even if they’re just for fun

What We Offer:

  • Mentorship from award-winning video editors, producers, and journalists

  • Real portfolio-building work with credited bylines and screen time

  • A fun, fast-moving newsroom that values bold ideas and fresh energy

  • Flexible work schedule and potential to join future paid projects or staff
