ABOUT THE ROLE
Do you have a sixth sense for spotting star power? Are you the one who always says, “That person should be a model,” or “They have it”?
The Miami News is expanding coast to coast—and we’re building a powerful roster of real people with extraordinary presence to represent our brand in print, digital, and live events. We’re looking for Model & Talent Scouts across ALL 50 states to help us discover the next wave of beauty, personality, and presence—across all ages, styles, identities, and backgrounds.
This is not your average casting job. It’s a dream role for connectors, creators, and curators of cool—those who can spot charisma in a coffee shop, backstage at a concert, on a small-town football field, or scrolling through social.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Scout everyday people and aspiring talent who could be featured in The Miami News campaigns, shoots, and live activations

Connect with models, performers, influencers, and personalities who represent modern America—diverse, real, bold, and unforgettable

Work remotely on your own schedule (online, in-person, or at events)

Recommend talent for editorial shoots, brand collaborations, live events, podcast guest spots, and ambassador opportunities

Maintain a roster of people you’ve scouted and stay involved in their journey

Collaborate with our creative, casting, and editorial teams to match the right faces to the right campaigns
WHO YOU ARE

A natural networker with a keen eye for unique looks, energy, and camera presence

Passionate about style, culture, people, and pop influence

Active on social platforms and always ahead of trends (IG, TikTok, etc.)

Friendly, persuasive, and comfortable talking to strangers—in person or online

Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own territory

No prior casting experience required—but if you’ve done it before, we want you

Bonus: You’ve worked in modeling, talent management, influencer marketing, or event production
