  • Help optimize content for digital platforms (SEO, social, mobile)

  • Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, and social media teams

  • Attend team editorial meetings and contribute to strategy discussions

  • Leave with real bylines and editorial credit

What You’ll Learn:

  • Real-world reporting and writing skills from experienced journalists

  • How to pitch, research, and develop stories in a competitive market

  • The editorial process from idea to publication

  • The latest tools in digital journalism, SEO, and content strategy

  • How modern media companies operate across platforms

Ideal Candidate:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, media, or a related field

  • Strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling

  • Curious, coachable, and eager to grow

  • Comfortable working under deadlines and receiving feedback

  • A self-starter with a great attitude and strong ethics

  • Bonus: Has clips from a school paper, blog, Substack, or campus magazine

What We Offer:

  • Mentorship from senior writers and editors

  • A creative, collaborative, and inclusive newsroom

  • Access to events, interviews, and story opportunities

  • Byline credit and a professional reference upon completion

  • Potential for future freelance or staff opportunities
