The Role:
As a Journalism Intern, you’ll work alongside award-winning reporters, editors, and producers to learn the ins and outs of a fast-paced, modern newsroom. From pitching stories and chasing leads to writing features and editing interviews, you’ll gain real-world experience while building your portfolio with bylines that matter.
This isn’t a coffee run internship—this is your launchpad into media.
What You’ll Do:

Pitch and write original stories across news, culture, lifestyle, business, or entertainment

Assist with interviews, fact-checking, and sourcing for major stories

Work with editors to refine headlines, story structure, and reporting techniques

Monitor breaking news and trending topics for story opportunities

Help optimize content for digital platforms (SEO, social, mobile)

Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, and social media teams

Attend team editorial meetings and contribute to strategy discussions
