The Role:
As a Social Media Intern, you’ll work closely with our digital and editorial teams to craft content, spark conversations, and build engagement across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook. You’ll help us grow our following while learning how top-tier media brands build influence in real time.

What You’ll Do:

Assist with creating and scheduling social media posts that reflect our brand voice

Draft captions, headlines, and content hooks that grab attention and drive clicks

Clip videos and create reels/shorts from existing stories and interviews

Monitor trending topics and recommend content angles and memes

Engage with our community: respond to comments, DMs, and tags

Help analyze performance and brainstorm ideas to improve reach and engagement

Collaborate with editorial and design teams on campaigns and promos

Attend brainstorm sessions and pitch creative social series or challenges
What You’ll Learn:

You Are:

A student or recent graduate in marketing, journalism, communications, or media

Obsessed with Instagram, TikTok, and the latest internet trends

A strong writer with a sense of humor, style, and voice

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive

Comfortable learning new tools and adapting quickly

Bonus: You’ve created content for your own social accounts or a student org
